Year-end Wrap-up

The final get-together of CBBAG Saskatchewan before the start of summer was held yesterday in Davidson. The pouring rain made it a good day to spend inside engaged in book-related activities.

The morning started off with Cathryn Miller presenting a slide show of altered books, both other people’s and her own.

The rest of the morning was spent making a special version of CBBAG PIE, a book shaped like a pie wedge that includes its own pie server.

Everyone worked hard to get their books finished by lunchtime.

We broke for lunch, generously provided by Leann (with a little help from others) before more book activities in the afternoon.

The afternoon was filled with cheerful discussions and shared enthusiasm.

A discussion

Leann finished off the afternoon by telling the group about the exciting events she and Robin have planned to begin in the fall.  You will need to watch this space for upcoming announcements and registration information.

All photographs of the day’s activities were taken by Gail F. Chin.

If you want to make your own copy of the CBBAG Pie book, you can download the pdf here. Instructions for printing and assembly can be found on Cathryn Miller’s blog, along with the original Cabbage Pie book. Please note that the guides for scoring the pie page on the CBBAG Pie version are on the coloured (non-text) side.
