Book Arts Exhibition in Saskatoon

An exhibition of works from Murray Library Special Collections, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon is on display in the Link Gallery until the end of March 2018.

The Link Gallery is located on the first floor of the Murray Library, and is open during library hours. You can read more about the display here.

Articulate Ink Member’s Letterpress and Book Basics Workshop – Regina

When: Saturday, March 25, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Where: Articulate Ink, 1843 Hamilton Street, Regina

This is an intensive one day workshop with Elizabeth Elich. She’ll be running an introductory workshop on letterpress and book binding. This workshop will be on March 25 from 11-4 and all materials will be provided. This workshop will discuss the history and uses of type, how to set and print, as well as introduce basic bookbinding techniques. Participants will leave with a small edition – which they will conceive, set, and print, as well as a small booklet which they will bind.

Please note: This workshop prioritizes Articulate Ink members, while it is open to the public, you should email Edie before registering at programming@articulateink.ca

Save the Press!

Recently an old Chandler and Price letterpress was stumbled upon so the Regina group Articulate Ink is holding a fundraiser to help save this beautiful press and restore it back to working glory!
