If you didn’t attend Cathryn Miller’s workshop on mini star books, you can still learn to make them. Instructions have been posted on the Byopia Press blog.
The classic star (also known as a Lotus Book) can be found here.
A triangular variation can be found here.
The third, and particularly ‘starry’ version, can be found here.
Cathryn Miller of Byopia Press has posted instructions for a woven book structure. Called the Orihime Binding, it is named for the heroine of the Tanabata legend. It is a three signature binding with a single sheet at the centre of each signature. The structure is held together by paper strips that weave through the pages and the cover.
The post includes a printable pdf of the book and full instructions for assembly.
